OCHLA Emerges as Unified Voice for Hotels Across Orange County in Strategic Rebrand
New Brand, New Look, Same Strong Commitment to Orange County’s Hospitality Industry
Orange County, CA – The Anaheim/Orange County Hotel & Lodging Association (AOCHLA) is proud to announce its official rebrand as the Orange County Hotel & Lodging Association (OCHLA) — a brand that better reflects the organization’s growing county-wide presence and influence.
This rebrand marks a new chapter for the Association as it continues its mission of advocacy, support, and leadership on behalf of Orange County’s vibrant and diverse hospitality industry. The new look comes alongside a refreshed visual identity, including a modern logo and updated branding, all designed to embody the energy, growth, and unity of Orange County’s lodging community.
“Orange County’s hospitality industry is as dynamic and expansive as the region itself,” said Danny Fierro, Executive Director of OCHLA. “Our new identity represents the broader reach and impact of our organization, and our continued commitment to championing the people, businesses, and communities that power this vital sector.”
Nicholas Hockman, OCHLA Board President and General Manager of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, added:
“This rebrand is more than just a new name - it reflects our evolution as an organization and the strength of the entire hospitality community across Orange County. As we grow and adapt, OCHLA remains steadfast in its mission to support our industry and ensure it continues to thrive.”
Sid Ramani, Area General Manager in Irvine for Hyatt Hotels Corporation and a member of the OCHLA Board of Directors, highlighted the significance of the rebrand for areas beyond Anaheim:
“Irvine is a key hub for hospitality in Orange County, and it was important that the Association’s identity reflect that strength. This rebrand reinforces OCHLA’s role in supporting hotels county-wide with a unified voice and a clear focus on industry advancement and stability. When our industry needed support, OCHLA delivered — making this rebrand both timely and well-earned.”
OCHLA will roll out its new branding across all platforms in the coming weeks, with an emphasis on enhancing member engagement, strengthening community ties, and promoting Orange County as a premier travel and tourism destination.
As part of the launch, the Association has unveiled a new website at ochotels.org, where visitors can meet board members, connect with association staff, stay up to date on events, and access the latest industry news.
Members and partners can look forward to new initiatives and programming that align with OCHLA’s renewed vision, including community-centered events, advocacy campaigns, and expanded resources for hospitality professionals.
“The future of hospitality in Orange County is bright,” added Fierro. “We are excited to build it together — as OCHLA.”
